College Excursion

Our College students enjoyed a fun excursion to see the Conservatorium of Music’s production of Cry Baby last Friday. Last year’s graduate Cooper Swain was in the production, so it was great to see him perform whilst completing assessment requirements in seeing live performances. It was definitely a fun assessment.

Film and TV Advanced Class

Teacher Tim Carroll has sent through a great update on the progress of this class, check out the following: The Advanced FTV class spent Term 2 studying different genres and archetypes of character. We explored advanced script techniques and industry trends that will best help each individual actor. In Term 3 we are beginning draft shoots of our end of year reel pieces. Each student will be assigned tailored material. This is imperative to analyse and continually build technique that is best suited for each individual brief. Each week the bar is set extremely high, and the students continually meet it!
