Recreational Technique & Ballet Classes 

Mini dance technique

Jazz / Lyrical / Contemporary 

For students who wish to perfect their dance technique. This class enhances dance ability, strength and flexibility.
In 2022 we will be using the International Dance Technique syllabus.
*This class is open to all students - Advanced Dance Technique classes are for Performance Team Members only.

Mini ballet

For students who wish to master coordination and agility. These classes expand dance repertoire and increase dexterity.
*Ballet is compulsory for all Performance Team students and open to all other students. RAD Ballet classes are offered for students who wish to pursue exams (see below).

For students wishing to add extra elements to their dance skill repertoire in preparation for future professional requirements, especially in the musical theatre field.
*This class is open to all students - Advanced Tap Technique classes are for Performance Tap Team members only.

Mini acrobatics

For students who wish to add another specialty skill to their performance resume. This class enhances acrobatic ability, strength and flexibility.
Placement in acrobatics classes is done by ability and at the discretion of the teacher.
*this class is Open to all students - Advanced Acro Technique classes are for Performance Acro Team members only.

Mummy and Me Class

For our babies! (ages 1-4)

Perfect for mummies and daddies who wish to spend some quality time with their cherubs while learning and exercising!

Advanced Technique & RAD Exam Ballet Classes 

RAD Classical Ballet

Pre-Primary / Primary

For exam students only. Students wishing to sit exams.
All RAD exam ballet students must attend an in-house exam workshop as part of their exam tuition.
This workshop is compulsory and is held in the September school holidays.

Please note: entry into ballet exams is at the discretion of the teacher.

RAD Ballet has strict guidelines on age limits. Students will be placed in the class that is suitable to their age and ability.

Advanced Dance Technique

6’s & 8’s Tech

Compulsory for students in 6’s Performance Dance Team.

This class enhances dance ability, strength and flexibility and is compulsory for all performance dance students. Advanced dance technique classes are for performance dance team members only

In 2022 we will be using the International Dance Technique syllabus.

Mini acro extension

This class enhances acrobatic ability, strength and flexibility at an elite level.

Please note:

*all RAD Ballet Exam students must attend exam workshop in the September school holidays. Dates TBC.

Full exam attire must be worn for the mock exam. All students are required to be ready with hair done etc. At the studio a minimum of ½ hour prior to scheduled mock exam time.
